*Guest Post* For Dog Lovers

Omg haha hiiii! This is @OmgYesKona and I'm here to bring you the BEST dog biscuit recipe. It's highly ranked by ME and I want to share the recipe plus my favorite things to be a fabulous unicorn pup like me. Ruff ruff!

First off, if you do not have silicone baking mats, you NEED these in your life. For all types of baking, they make goodies bake evenly and it's a much easier cleanup and cheaper than burning through parchment paper or oil. This set of three is under $15. Easy peasy pumpkin squeezy!

The second thing you need is fun cookie cutters. Tip: if you'd like a cat cookie cutter, look at halloween sets. At any rate, bone shaped cookie cutters are the easiest (and cheapest) to find; this set on Amazon is a steal.

Another necessity is a cute apron--bonus points fur a unicorn design!

Also, you need QUALITY organic peanut butter; none of that bottom-of-the-shelf crap. Dogs are family, right? So feed your pup what we deserve!

Kona's Biscuits

Ingredients:

1-1/2 cups organic whole wheat pastry flour or gluten-free all purpose flour

2 cups rolled oats

1/4 cup molasses

3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 cup wheat germ

water, as needed to reach that not-too-sticky consistency

Directions

Roll dough out on floured surface, cut out shapes with cookie cutter of your choice. (I like to use several different bone sizes, a fire hydrant, and a little gingerbread house that I pretend is a doghouse, ruff ruff).

Bake 10-12 minutes on greased or silicone mat-lined cookie sheets or until bottoms are golden and fully baked. Let cool and store in an airtight container to maintain freshness. These also freeze well if you opt to make a bunch at once.

Also, humans can enjoy these too--talk about a bonding moment!

Ruff Ruff,

Kona
